I've just finished a winemaking job in Clevedon, Auckland, NZ where I literally slept above the winery! Not very restful with all the generators going etc. but it was a great experience.
A far cry from the comforts of Pride Mountain Vineyards in Napa, CA where I'll be returning in June 2010 as their Harvest Enologist.
I dove straight into studying winemaking out of High School and received a scholarship to travel Italy for 5 weeks in 2006, graduated as Valedictorian in 2008 whilst working at Trinity Hill winery in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
I have been literally living out of a bag for the last 3 years travelling to work in Auckland NZ, Napa, CA (twice), and Yarra Valley (Australia).
BRING ON CHILE!!
